Motorway A1: Leave the motorway at Val di Chiana, take the 4-lane highway in the direction of Siena, about 7 km before Siena leave the road at Casetta - Monteaperti, then beyond Monteaperti and San Piero in Barca follow the road to Pianella, at the crossroads immediately before Pianella take a right and follow directions to Gaiole in Chianti. Cross the village and immediately after the church take the left turn to Vertine - San Donato in Perano.From the Valdarno
Motorway A1: leave it at Valdarno, follow directions to Gaiole in Chianti, after 15 km turn right towards Radda in Chianti, 4 km before Radda in Chianti turn left to Castello di San Donato in Perano.
From Siena
Take the road to Pianella, then follow the signs for Gaiole in Chianti. Cross the village and immediately after the church take the left turn for Vertine-San Donato in Perano.
